Armstrong International possesses one of the few specialist Investment Management search teams in Europe, which serves both the traditional and alternative managers. Our team is headed by Managing Partner, Sam Stylianou.
We are organised by products across all functional specialisations found in Long-only, Long-short, Fund of Fund and Family Offices, with a predominantly European franchise. These specialisations include: Portfolio Management/Trading, Analysis/Research, Asset Gathering/Capital Raising, Executive Suite (CEO, CIO, CAO and COO), Senior Infrastructure (Risk management, Technology, Tax and Legal).
We also possess an in-depth understanding of the trends and performance of the Investment Management industry. As the talent within the community tightens, we constantly seek to leverage the capabilities of our capital markets practice to help us identify the best professionals in the investment arena as well as exceptionally gifted sell-side talent, who could add value to an Investment Management business.
As well as working on retained search mandates for long-term clients, the team also selects proven and top ranked portfolio managers and asset raisers to introduce these on an agency basis to alternate platforms. This strengthens our ability to build long-term relationships with the best of breed candidates and assist in furthering their careers on a proactive basis. We typically work on the most senior end of the market but will also hire at more junior levels if the hire is of strategic importance to the client.
We work in partnership with select handful of global managers, boutiques, insurance companies, pension funds, endowments and foundations.
